Accomadation Raratonga

Hi
I'm off to Raratonga in early February for some R&R after touring NZ, Looking for some accomadation.

I deally want a beach hut type thing, clean and secure friendly.

With a nice beach to swim and laze on also any tips on must do things would be appreciated.

Rarotonga Backpackers, where I stayed, have a couple of beach huts. You can find some details here:

Admittedly the beach there is not good for swimming, because the water is shallow, but it shouldn't be a problem if you hire a motorbike (or ordinary bike). Then in 15 (or 30 minutes) you reach Titikaveka and in next 10 minutes Muri, which are the best swimming areas on Raro.
And if you are looking for more luxurious accomodation, you'll find several options on these locations.
