Accomodation in Raratonga

Hi there

Heading out to raratonga on 2nd Nov, has anyone got any advice on where to stay we have a daily budget of £50.

We would like to stay in a private room with a bathroom

Check out the Paradise Inn, in town (no swimming beach). Not many others with private room and BA at that price. Maybe Aquarius, across from the airport, might also have a double room for about that price.

The Kii Kii is another place to check out, but it's a bit out of town and not on a swimming beach.

The "Shell Shop Cottages" (Terry Lambert) are two cottages at Muri Beach, near the road, but only a couple of minutes' walk to the beach.

As you're leaving soon, and it's a requirement to have a place booked before you arrive---legally (and practically as well)---I'd get on the net and go to www.ck for the e-mails and info on these and other places. Depending on flight time arrival, you may also need to ask them to arrange your arrival trasnfer, as no public buses late at night, etc.
