Kia Ora ano, and thanks for all the answers to my previous post on buying food for self catering. We are looking at accommodation options for Aitutaki around $145 per night and would love to stay at Matriki as we have heard great things about the place. Sadly they are quite booked up for the 7 nights we are there so we will have to find somewhere else to rest our heads. Anyone got any tips? North West beach side would be our preffered choice, nothing flash but clean and comfortable is all we ask. Cheers.....Hikoi

Try Paradise Cove... you should get a beachfront bungalow for 120-130NZ$ ... they are clean and the folks that staff it are nice and helpful | 2
Paradise Cove is further along the same beachfront towards the NW end of island. Very nice resort, bigger than Matriki, but quiet and clean - daily service and towel change. Special rates until March 2010. Great value and there is a small licenced cafe next door. Ask for the breakfast inclusive rate - wonderful tropical fruits and fresh locally baked breads! Exceptional hosts too. Otherwise nearer to Matriki there are the Vaikoa beachfront units, or Amuri Sands. | 3
