Best Hamburger in the Cook Islands

I've been meaning to post this since I returned from the CI in December. There are three great cheap places to eat in Raro. #1 The Hideaway located at Lat. -21.206318, Lon. -159.777444; #2 FBI located just a few meters down the street from the Hidaway and... #3 The Saturday morning market has lots of tasty breakfast & lunch fare.

The hamburger at the Hideaway I thought was world class. The fish & chips at the FBI was good and both were a lot less money, better quality and more food that the places on main street. We found the folks at Trader Jacks downright unfriendly this trip.

Trader Jack's is SO 1980's.... I fully expected Magnum PI to walk in as the sounds of cheesy Yacht Rock like Steely Dan, The Eagles and Toto played away from the corner mounted Technique speakers.

It really needs to go or needs to aquire a whole new image.

My vote is for Josie's on Aitutaki. And it is the beets!
