Cheapest way to Rarotonga from Thailand - in 5 weeks

Hi there,

Myself and my girlfriend are currently in Thailand and are wanting to get to the Cook Islands for Christmas!! We would like to know if anyone can give us any ideas about the cheapest ways to fly from and to Aus and NZ to get our backsides over to the cooks within about 5 weeks.

We flexible for time, so we just want to know what's the quickest way to get to Auckland if that's the cheapest (or only) place that we can get to the cooks from. From my initial google searches it looks that way, I wanted to know if it's easier to fly from Singapore, Bangkok or anywhere else to then get into Aus first, or fly straight to NZ....

Any help would be appreciated, please let us get to the cooks for Christmas!

The only ways to fly to Rarotonga is from Christchurch or Auckland on Air New Zealand, or from Papeete on Air Tahiti Nui.

Check out www.houseoftravel.co.nz and put in Auckland to Rarotonga (Cook Islands) and it will show you the cheapest flights available. You can use Air NZ or Pacific Blue who will also get you from Australia if you need to bypass NZ.
