Edgewater hotel dumpes cat at the tip. Please don't book here.

Staff at the Edgewater hotel took a cat that hung around the hotel to the tip to get rid of it, even though the Esther Honey Foundation shelter would have taken it in and found it a home as that is exactly what they do.
Two EHF volunteer rescued it, and brought it to the centre. It was named after them, JonVal. Please avoid this hotel and it's uncaring staff with obviously no respect for life.
EHF do a great job, pop in for a visit if you're passing. They're on the main road near the airport.

Yes all at EHF do a fantastic job.. My husband and I visit the Cooks every 2 years and always present 100 NZD to the EHF on our departure... and no won't be staying at Edgewater..
