Hi, can anyone help me? We are wanting to go on a bit of a holiday to a pacific island and are having issues choosing which one? We want sand, sun, beach, fun and somewhere wonderful to stay! Any help??

What kind of issues?

Your post really is a bit vague for us to much help to you.

If you are in Australia, there are plenty of Australian islands that offer all that. Why do you want to visit a Pacific island instead? That might indicate the place that would suit you.

Go to Aitutaki and have a boat drop you on one of the motus with a picnic basket for the day. Bliss!

The best Web sites for Cook Island information are www.ck</a> and the Official Cook Islands Tourism site.

Be aware that Avarua is the village in Rarotonga. For someone seeking sand and beach that would not be the place to stay. Muri Beach is my favorite area but the beaches on the south side of the island are beautiful also.

I have not been to Atiu, Mauke or Mitiaro. However, if you are seeking sand and beach check whether those islands have beaches. I was under the impression that they don't.

Cook Islands rock. I went in July/august and the weather was great and beaches wernt crowded. If you decide on cook islands i recomend you jump on the bus and do a lap of the island, its cheap and you get to see where everything is. Its only about 30 k round the island so its not a big ride.
