Is Pacific Resort on Aitutaki worth it

Hi
My partner and I are travelling to Aitutaki for 2 nights/3 days in August for our 9 year anniversary. We have heard amazing things about the Pacific Resort on Aitutaki, but for $815 a night, we are not sure if we could stay somewhere else which will be just as nice but a little less strain on the budget. Having said that, if the resort is truly exceptional, we will pay the extra.
We have looked at Etu Moana and a couple of others, which also seem really nice.
Does anyone have a comment on the above please?

Yes! My lovely partner - Janice - and I stayed at the Etu Moana villas in late February 2006. We also did a "walk-through" at the Pacific Resort. Hands down, you're far better off at the Etu Moana. You will kick yourself if you don't take advantage of this opportunity. If you haven't already, check out the traveler reviews on tripadvisor.com

Thanks so much for your advice Mark, I have booked us into a Beachfront Villa at Etu Moana - having reviewed the comments on Trip Advisor, it definitely appears that you receive a far better deal as well as experience at Etu Moana than any other resort. Thanks again =)

Mark is spot on with his views on Etu Moana. We have stayed there twice in the past 18 months. Villa 1 and Villa 3. It is a very special place. My absolute favorite.

Excellent decision! We had one of the beachfront villas, as well. Just like out of storybook. Please extend our fond best wishes to the owners - Jim & Jo-Anne. They are wonderful people and, along with the staff, will really make your stay a "once in a lifetime" experience.
