Kia Orana Airlines

A while ago I read about the plans to start up a second domestic air carrier, Kia Orana Airlines.

Any updates on the situation? Does anyone know when they plan to start service and to which islands?

I have heard nothing since the initial announcement. Check the Internet version of Cook Island News for future developments. I did here the plane they will be using is small and service will be limited.

I was speaking to one of the principles of the Company the other day and he said they would be starting around Christmas 08 servicing the Southern group...
