Permanent Accomadation/Job

Kia Orana,

I will be moving to Rarotonga at the end of this month and I am looking for long term accommodation. I have family in Titikaveka, Tupapa and other places around the Island however I am more of an independent. Can anyone recommend a good affordable place for me to rent while living in Raro?

It will just be myself, I do not mind where in Raro just as long as it is accessible to the market, diary and other people.

I am also looking at jobs and I have been looking on the Cook Island jobs site. Would it be best to apply now knowing I am not yet in the country and will not be until the 28/07/2014? Or would be best to apply when I reach the island?

Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

What until you arrive then look for long-term accommodation and job vacancies. If you aren't staying with family when you arrive, some of the more affordable s/c accommodation includes Mount View Lodges, Tiare Village, Atupa Orchid units, and Rarotonga Backpackers.
