Wedding in Aitutaki?Hairdresser? Make up artist?

Heya,

My fiance and I are checking out potential places for our wedding. Aitutaki is set on our minds at the moment but I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there are any hairdressers or make up and beauty on the island? I know it sounds uptight because its paradise but just need to know if I need to fly one in from raro or bring someone from nz - which I really don't want to do.

If there are these services on the island, what do the beauty services include and costs etc

Also, has anyone had a wedding on the island before? Could you please give me your thoughts and experience, also how good are the wedding planners over there? Would you know how many weddings there are in a week or month there or is mainly a honeymoon destination

You might also try posting your questions on the Cook Islands board at tripadvisor.com - should be more posters there to help you.

Many (most?) folks posting wedding questions on this forum are one-time posters so you may not get an answer right away.

In the meantime why not call the folks at Etu Moana, Pacific Resort or one of the places you are considering for accommodation?
