1 week fiji for budget backpacker???

Hi im spending one week in fiji and need some help??
Any suggestions on what island i should go to?? I would like to spend the week on either one or two islands.
I would also like a island with thats geared towards backpackers and isnt too remote.. any suggestions on what island i should stay on or any cheap accomadtion / hostels???

I need to do this on a very small budget??

Go island hopping with awesome fiji. They do package tours or you can get a Bula pass (boat only) and sort out your own accomodation. The Yasawas are beautiful; most of the resorts are small so it's less over touristed than the mainland.

Seaspray on Nanuya Lailai was very cheap. Limited electric and salt water showers, but cross the island and you're on the glorious blue lagoon. Mantaray cost a bit more but had the best reef for snorkelling on. See if Octopus has any safari tents available (maid service and a sea view). Bounty is a party island if that's your thing- dorms are inexpensive.

I suggest Levuka + Caqelai.
