2 months in Fiji

Hello!

Florida, US to Fiji for June and July, will be arriving weekend of May 26th. Will be in Savusavu for the first week then sailing on private boat in and around Taveuni. Welcome any suggestions after leaving the Savusavu area, as we will be on private sailboat we can go anywhere and no specific time frame. After few weeks in area then onto Lau Group, depending on permits. July back to Kadavu and Mamanuca Island area. Fly back home Aug 1.

Need to refresh my diving skills the first two weeks with a great experienced guide ( DM ) or dive resort. Certified OW for years, diving in FL, but not a lot in the recent couple years.

We also plan to do a lot of island hopping and exploration hiking!

Weather for June and July? Im reading 75 - 85, dry season. Sounds like Florida in the winter?

Octopus Resort in the Yasawas has decent anchorage and an excellent dive operation. They like yachties.

Bay of Islands at the north western corner of Vanua Balavu I in northern Lau is really special if you get the permits.
