3 weeks in NovemberCountry forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Fiji
Hi Myself and my friend will be travelling to Fiji for 3 weeks in mid november, we have our 1st nights accomodation booked...but up to now thats all. Would you recommend booking all accomodation and island hopping passes before we go or is it just as easy to sort things out once there? Also could anyone recommend any specific islands there is soooo much to choose from, we are looking for fun, culture and relaxation. Thank you Vicki
Hi Vicki, Scroll down to "Fiji Help and Advice" 8/21 and "Three Weeks in Fiji" 8/4. The first one is for | 1
Mind you, there is definitely no need to prebook all your accommodation from home. You can even book them right on board the Flyer. In fact I think it would be foolish to book everything in advance, as you will only know which places you like most once there. Also, prior bookings include a 30% commission for the booking agent, and you may pay that much less if you negotiate subsequent nights directly with your accommodation"s owners. | 2
Fiji has a lot of options and a big touristic infrastructure compared to most of the other islands in the Pacific so I would arrange everything on the spot. You should not have any problems. If you guys are young and want to have some fun, check out Beachcomber island. Have a great trip! | 3
