5 days in Fiji-Where to stay?

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Fiji

Hi to everybody,

We are planning for this August to spend 5 nigths in Fiji. We will be coming for a trip in Australia and we find a place to relax, not very popular, with 2 o 3 bars or restaurants to have a beer and dinner. We do not look for a very crowdy place, and we do not look either a very alone place (only us).
We would like to be in a place with nice beach, possibility to snorkle, have a beer or breakfast close to the beach...
Our budget is mid-mid high.

Any recomendations will be apreciatted.

Regards,

Sergi

Have a look at Mana Island Resort. We did not stay there but took a day trip to the island - great beaches, super snorkeling and a couple of restaurants. It is a fairly large resort but there are several beaches and lots of opportunity to find a secluded area if you want. Expedia sometimes has good deals for this place - we would stay here if we return to Fiji!

Second the Mana Island suggestion - there is a couple hostels and a resort on the island, but a great place to totally chill. I stayed at the Mana Lodge (hostel) had the whole bungalow to myself, 3 meals a day included - there is a hostel/dive shop nearby with a restaurant and bar.

The Pearl Resort in Pacific Harbour is awesome and includes free breakfast. Tons of activities can be booked through reception. It's also right across from the Beqa Diving Center where they do the shark dive which is not to be missed if you dive.
