(Sorry for my english) We'll travel in fiji during 5 weeks, we arrive february 2nd et quite march 7th, but I know it's the cyclone season, is somebody traveled in fiji at this period? And we have 5 weeks...I know it's a lot, but I'm sure we can find a lot of thing to do and to see, do you have some suggestions for us? We want take diving class (padi), we want do kayaking, hiking, snorkeling, visit some villages, we want to go in the yasawa, but taveuni too and stay on the principal island. And more, we travel with a tent, do you know if there are some places where we can do camping? thanks a lot for your suggestions and advices! Caroline

| Laszlo22:37 UTC20 Sep 2012 | Camping in Fiji is uncommon and probably won't save you much money, though I think Taveuni has at least 2 places where it's possible. I did travel in Fiji in the rainy season, and found it OK. However it should be pointed out that Taveuni, while otherwise lovely, gets the highest amount of rainfall in the country and is probably not the best choice then. The Yasawas and especially the Mamanucas, as well as the Nadi area, tend to get more sunshine during that period.

| Laszlo23:06 UTC08 Oct 2012 | Yes, it will be rainy season. Possibly VERY rainy, but you could also be lucky - I was there just before New Year's Eve and it was OK.
