Accommodation near Nausori Airport, Suva

Hi Pacific-islanders!

Is there really nowhere to stay in Nausori? I can't seem to find a thing. Closest I can find is the Raintree Lodge, which looks nice but we only have a late night/early morning stopover and were hoping for something close to the airport. If not, Raintree it is.

I tried to find something closer a couple of years back & couldn't. We ended up staying in Suva & getting a taxi out to the airport - just because we felt we had more chance of getting another taxi at short notice in case the first one didn't show. But I'm sure if you arrange one with the Raintree office it will be ok. We stayed at Raintree on another occasion - it is nice - and you will probably be woken VERY early by the birds - I think it was a variety of crow that started with loud ringing call at 3am!

Raintree Lodge is the closest. If you arrive at Nausori (with a flight) take a taxi to the raintreelodge and arrange same driver to pick you up next morning, they are generally very reliable. Otherwise just ask the reception at raintree (when you check in) to book you a cab.
