Air Pacific

The price for my Air Pacific tickets dropped $400 after I purchased. Can I cancel those tickets and buy new ones by paying a fee or something?

That sucks! I hope they at least give you the difference in credit. Ask, esp if the difference occurred just days after.

Might be worth a try. But - if it would be the other way round, the price rising substantially right after you bought a ticket, would you offer them an up-payment or accept any request from them to do so? I doubt it. I assume you would say "Bad luck" and most likely that's what it is.

I would call he airline anyway. They may want to charge you a change fee which might erase any gain that you might have coming.
