Air Pacific

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Fiji

Hi,

I am trying to contact them via e-mail, bit can´t get an answer! If you can give me some info i'd appreciate!

Do you know if they sell some airpass that includes internal flight + Tonga?

Do you think if I arrive at the airport and buy the ticket on the same time is cheaper? I read in some old post that the tickets bought in fiji are generally cheaper than the ones on internet or even bought in stores outside the country. Is that true?

Since I am travelling in June/July, and it seems to be a busy time, what do you reccomend?

Thanks a lot!

Air pacific are quite professional so keep trying the email but if you havent had a response it may be due to the fact they are unable to assist with your request.

I would suggest you call them or ask a travel agent to look into it for you.

Not sure about domestic flights but here in the Pacific the closer to the travel date, the more expensive the flight.

they are bankrupt!

Air Pacific or Air Fiji are bankrupt??? How can you fly now???????

3

Air Fiji is a goner Air Pacific is still flying Internationally.

Contrary to the post above re:professionalism I've found Air Pacific to be a clown show/pack of idiots and worse.

This latest Bad News from their joke of a website
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Effective from 2nd May 2009 Air Pacific flights between Nadi and the Gold Coast will be suspended. Customers currently booked on flights between the Gold Coast and Fiji will be re-accommodated to Air Pacific’s daily flights between Brisbane and Nadi and provided transport between Gold Coast and Brisbane Airports.
The Managing Director & CEO of Air Pacific, John Campbell, said “We regret the necessity to suspend these flights but unfortunately the economic downturn has resulted in poor demand and increasing losses. Regretfully, the route did not have the opportunity to develop a viable base from its launch in early December 2008 so that services have struggled throughout 2009. We hope to recommence flights to the Gold Coast when economic conditions improve.”
