| newyorkleslie06:45 UTC11 Mar 2007 | I know there have been lots of posts on the Bula pass but I can’t seem to find answers to my questions. My boyfriend and I are spending 12 days in Fiji this summer and have some questions on travel in the Mamanucas adn Yasawas
Questions:
1. We are staying on Tokoniki in the Mamanucas for 4 nights then want to go to the Yasawas, do we have to go back to Nadi for a night to get the 9:00 am boat or is there a boat that will take us to the Yasawa from Tokoniki?
2. Does the Bula pass include the following: Waya, Yaqeta, Necula and Nanuya Lai Lai?
3. Would the Bula pass get us from Nadi to Taokoniki, Waya, Yaqeta, Necula and Nanuya Lai Lai and back to Nadi
4. Do we purchase the bula pass before we get in country?
Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.

The Flyer stops at South Sea, Beachcomber, Bounty and Treasure Islands, which are fairly close to Nadi. Check to see if your return transportation from Tokoriki stops at one of these islands where you could stay the night, instead of going all the way to Nadi. Then get picked up in the morning to head north into the Yasawas.
If you are not moving around a lot, it may be less expensive paying for each segment rather than buying a pass. You can buy the pass or individual segment tickets in Nadi at the Denarau Marina when you board the first time, and you can buy your ticket on board each time you get on anywhere in the Yasawas. Try adding up the segments you intend to use and compare - you can do this in Fiji if you can't get the info online. No need to buy ahead.
Nacula and Nanuya Lailai are near each other and you would use a local water taxi and not the Flyer for transport between those two islands - cost about F$10 -20 pp depending on where you are going locally. It is easy to arrange.
The cost in Jan 07 was F$100 from Nadi to Nacula one way. It was F$60 from Waya to Nacula. I'm not sure, but I don't think the Flyer goes to the Mamanucas except for the ones I mentioned above.
