Any reviews on mango bay hostel or uprising hostel Fiji?

Hi, ran across these two hostels online...both look okay though uprising sounds a touch nicer. Not looking for resort feel but basic clean dorm bed and a good social atmosphere...reasonably cheap dorm bed price and access to frigates and beqa reef dive and then yasawas....if anyone stayed there would love to hear thoughts

If your'e doing a bega dive, then Uprising would be a good choice. They have a 20 bed dorm for $FD35 including breakfast. You also get the boat for the dive just 5 mins from the resort. if you stayed at Mango bay you would still have to drive down to Pacific Harbour.

Both are fine, but Uprising is definitely higher quality. Lovely grounds and swimming pool and it has a beach there too. Perhaps not as much character but more professional. I liked Mango Bay, very laid back, backpackery vibe but quite isolated whereas at Uprising there is a small town with basic facilities!
