australian sim in fiji

just wondering whether my australian sim card will work in fiji?

That depends on what brand it is. Some prepaid sims roam outside of Aus and some don't.

If it does, first you need to activate it for global roaming and that usually has to be done when in Australia if not beforehand. Then you need to look into what countries it will roam in - check on the networks website - or contact me and I'll try and find out for you.

i.e. A vodafone prepaid sim will work fine in Fiji once it is roaming activated. Roaming is activated by calling Vodafone on 1555 when you're in Australia.

I'm in New Zealand. I have a vodaphone phone. It works in Aussie and Fiji okay.
