| KBJ388809:14 UTC25 Mar 2015 | Hi All
Myself and my boyfriend are heading to Fiji in October for around 2 weeks before heading to NZ.
I have a few questions so any info would be really helpful :)
1. Was thinking of booking the 9 day trip with Awesome Adventures Fiji (think its called Discover Fiji) has anyone done a trip with this company? If so what was it like? I have read on a 2 year old forum that they are not a good company. And I understand they are allowed to change your accommodation if they need to. This happened to anyone? If it does change are you given something else just as good?
2. Is the weather awesome in October?
3. Looking at doing a helicopter ride over the heart shaped island (Tavarua think its spelt) anyone done this? Opinions?
4. Any things we should absolutely not miss out on doing whilst in Fiji?
Thanks everyone

Awesome Adventures is fine, they're basically the only practical option for visiting to Yasawa Islands. I suggest just getting a Bula pass from them that'll look after your transportation, then booking your accommodation separately on your own. Then you can stay exactly where you want when you want.
Could be.
I don't really see the point. If you want to see some stuff from the air and are willing to pay the price, then I'd opt to take the float plane either to or from the north end of the Yasawa chain, and use the Yasawa Flyer for island hopping while travelling the opposite direction.
I'd highly suggest staying at Blue Lagoon Beach Resort on Nacula Island for a few nights. One of my all time favourite places in all of my travels for a number of reasons, although that was 5 years ago now when it was still brand new and relatively unknown.
