Best Snorkelling in Fiji with Kids Activites

We are a couple looking for excellent snorkelling (we are seasoned snorkelers) in Fiji with also kids activities, or kids club for a 5 year old. This will be our third time to Fiji, having been to Blue Lagoon Resort, Botaira and Paradise Resort before. A nanny would be fine also, but we need to go to a place where there are other kids around, as we'll be travelling during term time. Most important thing we are looking for is good snorkelling, though, as we have an only child, kids clubs or activities are important too to keep her occupied. I have been considering Mana Island Resort, maybe Octopus also. Castatway looks good, but over our budget. Where do you recommend, all replies helpful?

Having been to both Mana Island Resort and Octopus Resort(twice), I would recommend Mana Island for families with young children. They do have a kid's club and babysitters - we saw lots of kids when we were there. There are several great beaches that give you the option of choosing the best one if the wind is up on one side of the island. There is excellent snorkeling off the North Beach with a wide reef area to explore - also the option of paid trips to other snorkeling areas. Mana Island also has several backpackers places that have restaurants, so you could opt to have a change from the resort restaurants at a much lower cost.
