Best time to visit

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Fiji

I've booked to go to Fiji in January (3rd-10th). I've heard conflicting things about the weather? Should I consider somewhere else or have people been at that time?

Thanks!

We just go at any time of the year and apart from Taveuni where it rained solid every day for about a week we have not had too many problems with the weather.
It usually does not rain for long, we have been evacuated due to Cyclones a coupe of times but still enjoyed our holidays.
We mainly stay in the Mamanuca Island Chain.

We have spent 14 days in Taveuni in February and March were supposed to rain all days around but was raining just after 5-ish almost every day there.
During days was very hot and sunny. So think its mostly a question of luck.

No matter the time, it will be rainy :)
