Bookings

Hi everyone.....

Im flying to Fiji next week but booked no accommodation...im planning to stay in mamanucas or yasawas but didint decide yet'..is it all right not to book at this time of the year? also...how is it with the island hopping?...is there a pass to travel aroud if i want to stay in different places?

I have never been before but am going in ten days to the Yasawas. I booked the last of my accommodation about a month and a half ago – I would suggest that you start booking as soon as you can as in a couple of the places we couldn’t get the kind of room we wanted because they were already booked. The impression I get from these boards is that the more popular resorts such as Octopus can get fully booked months and months ahead of time.

I think Val is already there and maybe gone already [posted on October 18 and was going "next week"]. But it will be interesting to see how the "no advance booking" plan turned out, based on your experiences in trying to book.
