Hi, how much would I need to budget per day for food and lodging in Fiji as a basic backpacker. Also can I get there easily from Chile?

Say 30 USD/day and up.

You can get there easily, but not cheaply!

Your cheapest bet is probably flying via the US (visa hassle?), though the route via Easter Island, Tahiti and New Zealand may look more exotic and shorter.
