bus from Nadi to Sigatoka on Sunday

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Fiji

I will be landing in Nadi on Sunday, June 27, in the morning, and I'd like to go by bus to Sigatoka.
Does anybody know how are the buses running on Sundays?

Thank you in advance,
Mike

G;day Mike, as far as I am aware, busses will run well on a Sunday. Check with the info desk at the airport, and if poss get the express bus down there, quicker than the normal one and still cheap as chips. Be about 2 hours max. Where are you staying, out of interest? I am at Danny's homestay from mid July with my daughter, I have researched this homestay and it looks fantastic in quality and value for money.

yes the buses run on Sundays

the 1st express bus leaves Nadi Airport at 7:00AM

if you catch the 7:00AM express you will get to Sigatoka at 8:45AM

if you catch a stage bus (bus that stops at every stop along the way) 1st stage bus is at 7:55AM you will get to Sigatoka at 10:10AM

I have stayed at Danny's village homestay it was an eye opener to how people with very little are so happy with life. It was a cultural experience/exchange that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Well worth it.

Thank you both for information.
I am landing at 6:50 am, so 7 am bus will be too early for me.
I will not stay on Coral Coast, I just want to stop in Sigatoka for one night.
Mike

Hiya,

I have just looked at the timetable posted above for the Sunbeam buses but it seems that no buses run Nadi airport to Sigatoka after 3.35pm. My flight lands on a Saturday evening at 5.20pm, can anyone suggest another bus perhaps that will get me to Sigatoka?

Thanks
