Car hire

We are looking to hire a car the drive along the queens road. We will be travelling at the beginning of January and will be looking to stop at the Kula Eco park. Will we need a 2 or 4 wheel drive car? Is it doable at this time of year?

Don't need 4wd - it is the main road between Nadi and Suva - however it's not in great condition so drive carefully. Be aware that the speed limit is 80kph and there are lots of villages along the way where the speed limit drops right down, there are likely to be lots of pedestrians and animals on the road too.

If you are lucky it won't be quite as wet this January as it was last----plenty of flooded roads and bridges underwater or washed away. All you can do is wait and see. Best of luck!
