Cheap hotels in Suva

Hello,

I will be in Suva soon and will spend 3 days before flying to Tuvalu. Are there cheap GHs / hostels / hotels / motels in Suva ? I have checked various websites but rates are high. I can see few Chinese restaurants in Suva but could not see Chinese owned / operated accommodation in Suva.

Super-central, too.

Why on Earth would accmodation need to be Chinese-run?
