we are in fiji for 4 months. Have another family coming out for a week and want to really show them a cool, isolated (within reason) place to go (not to resorty but with a place to stay, small bar etc)
willing to stay on viti levu or do short flight if needed
any thoughts would be great

They have a great bar or you can bring your own

| margnkids09:15 UTC28 Jan 2011 | Not quite sure what you want but what about one of the small resorts in the Yasawas like Nanuya and Botaira (less backpackers, less children, Nanuya great meals) or bigger more cosmopolitan Octopus and Blue Lagoon Resort. Have a look at website and reviews on TA.
A thought is Reefhouse on Malolo Lailai (same island as Plantation, Musket Cove and Lomani) a private house where you can entertain, self cater, bikes provided to whip around, access to Marina bar, BBQ, Cafe with yachties, or the other eateries on the island, great beaches etc. There are many more more expensive private houses on the island too.
