Cost Sharing- Boat Transfer from Nadi to Octopus Resort 22nd Oct

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Fiji

Hi,

Is anyone interested in cost sharing a boat transfer to Octopus Resort from Nadi airport at approx 3pm 22nd Oct??

We arrive in Nadi 2pm and want to get to Octopus the same day but the regular transfers only run in the morning, hence the need to hire a private boat.

The cost of the boat is US$400 and will be split by the number of people travelling. It's just myself and wife and if we can just get another couple it would be enough (ie US$100 each). The boat can take 6-8 people.

The boat is provided by the resort and details are available on their website-

Is anyone keen to save a few bucks???

US$100 each is actually more than the Flyer costs.
Have you been in touch with Octopus? Their boat may be going at a time to suit you anyhow.

Cheers,
Peter

The Flyer is approx $63 pp each way. However, it only goes in the morning at 10am. We have checked this and ALL other boats but no luck.

Unless you have and different info??

The Flyer actually leaves at 8.30am, it's the Octopus boat that goes at 10.
Have you checked out the helicopter service? It may of course be more expensive, but worth a look. There is definitely no other boat service.

chopper is about $500 pp!!!

trying to save money so not the preferred option

You could stay here - Raffles - overnight and catch the boat the next morning - easy and not too expensive ($100 US)
