Crusoe's Retreat Fiji

We stayed at this hotel over new year and had a wonderful time. The location is wonderful and you do really feel you are in Fiji and not some faceless chain hotel. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff are a real credit to this hotel and nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely return to Crusoe's as it is great value and we had the best time there.

Have a great story about Crusoes retreat.
When we stayed there we were awaiting the opening of the lovo when there was a terrible squeeling coming from the area further up the beach.
This was followed by two villagers who were leading a pig from one side of Crusoes to their village on the other side.
They had a rope tied around the pigs testicles and would direct it by yanking on either side, it came squeeling right past the lovo and stank to high heaven.
It put me right off my meal!!!
Crusoes was fine, they have great specials on Wotif at present.
