Day Trip Possibilities

I will be staying at the Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa at the end of September for 9 days. What are some Day Trip or activities to checkout when I'm there.

I'd go to Sigatoka, a typical busy town, there are the Sand dunes before sigatoka and the Kula Eco park both worthwile, you could just get a taxi to the main road and get the bus, but a taxi all the way to sigatoka would not be expensive, its also possible to get the bus to Suva, a Saturday is a good day for that as the markets are busy and the museum is very good another good thing is the Navua River trip,

9 days at Dererau. That's a shame :(
Lautoka has the best fruit and veg market in Fiji and is an interesting non tourist town.
Take the yellow bus from your resort to the main road (it also goes to Nadi) and then transfer to a local bus in either direction.
Check Rivers Fiji for tours.
There are day trips to the islands on the Fiji Flyer.
There is also a day trip with lunch to Beachcomber Island from The Anchorage, a short way north.
Take a local bus to Rakiraki and then a taxi to VoliVoli resort for lunch.
