day trips

Hi
I'm heading to Fiji, staying at Sheraton resort, but wondering if anyone has recommended day trips to take, on a budget of course!
Maybe a day at a white sand/clear water beach for a bit of snorkelling or kayaking as I'm aware that Denerau is not exactly white sand/clear water.
Day trips as we have already paid all accommodation at Sheraton.
Any suggestions welcome!!

If you do a google search for 'fijiresorts'(I can't remember the exact url) you will find a link to cruises offered by South Seas Cruises. They have a number of day trips departing from Denerau to nearby islands. I would not term them inexpensive but definitely worth a splurge. We did the Mana Island day trip and really enjoyed it - great beaches,snorkeling and hanging out at the Resort.

Do the day trip to South Sea Island. You get a fabulous lunch and beer all day. This tiny island is paradise.
