Day Trips to Monuriki (Tom Hanks Island)

I have a full day in Nadi, actually I arrive on Saturday at 1:50pm and then depart the next day at 10pm. I've been to Fiji before and this time all I want to see is Monuriki island (Tom Hanks Island). Can anyone recommend a company that offers day trips there?

I think only one company offers this as a day-trip out of Nadi (you change to their schooner from the Mamanuca-shuttle boat at Mana) but every travel agent in Nadi can book it for you.
It will be expensive, ca FJD180 if I recall correctly, and you will only have a rather brief stop at Monoriki (maybe 2 hours or even less).
Try and talk them into providing a guide to take you up to the viewpoint below the island's peak as the view is definitely worth it. From what I've seen, this climb was not included in the day-cruise!

No rope and the climb is not included in the Sea Spray trip. They tried to discourage me from trying but I went and almost reached the top before it became to steep to continue.

I don't think people normally make it to the very top but the views are already great from the ridge below, and from the smaller side-peak anyway! :-)

I agree, the view is still great from the ridge just below the top. It was well worth the climb.

It's a great little island and I was lucky to have it for myself for a few hours while the rest of the boat went to the Fijian village, which was optional, I opted to be dropped off on the Modriki alone like a true castaway, albeit only for a few hours. I just wish I could have camped over night there.

over a sılly tourısty vıllage-vısıt ? anyways, i was just there 2 days ago, usually the trip takes the yellow boat or similar to Mana where you transfer over to the SeaSpray you cruise about 45 mins up to Monriki where you snorkel or beach dwell for about 1 hour, then on board for lunch then over to the village which was quite interesting with the chief and the ceremony then support the local 'shops' should you want before heading back to Mana to swap boats back to Nadi, a really nice day out with fun crew and nice lunch. surprised they let you alone to climb up by yourself incase you came unstuck but good for you for climbing it as i would have liked to but couldnt as i liked the snorlelling/ I did look for his cave though. think ill rent the vid and see what was shot there v in the studio. you're on the Sea Spray from about 10.30 till 400ish.
