Denarau Casino

Anyone know if the Casino is open in Nadi? Can only find
minimal information on it.

They haven't started building yet... Due to start very soon... Completion due mid-late 2014 (Fiji time) :)

Of course Fiji Time.. Know all about it.. I live on Hawaii time.

Allegedly they get fined 100,000 a month for every month they
are behind.

Ouch! The building of casino should have started last year with completion this month. But there were issues with the land/location... They had changed location a few times and have only just locked in location/land... If fine is correct, then they will have one hefty late fee!

Casino will not be opening any time soon. Construction is yet to commence and looking at the plans etc it will take contractors minimum of an year to complete construction.

Contractually a fine of $100,000 USD per month for delay from October, 2013 was agreed to.

Apparently One Hundred Sands financial issues are the cause of delay
