Diving astrolabe on a budget?

Hi,
We'd like to dive the astrolabe reef, but seem only to find very expensive accommodation. Anyone know of a cheap place? We are used to very low standard.

It is really nice to stay on the eastern side of the island, so you do not have a long boat trip to and from the reef (it is over an hour each way), however the lodges over thee are more expensive (however diving should be a lot cheaper since you save on fuel). However, I would write some of the more expensive ones, and ask if they can recommend a budget spot for you. On google maps zoom into the western part of the island around Tiliva and on Ono Island, and most if not all of the options over there should show-up.
