Hi all-
I have 12 days to spend in Fiji and am looking for the best dive sites. I can't do a liveaboard (they are booked already) but don't want to miss out on the best sites. Can anyone out there advise me of the best islands to dive from and the best sites to check out?
Our plan now is the check out the Yasawas but I am wondering if it is worth trying to get over the Taveuni? Any advice is appreciated!
Thanks

its all here diving in march

Hi

Check out here for Dive Sites of Fiji

Personally: Kadavu and Taveuni are the best two which are affordable

Hi,
Try Paradise Taveuni - used to be Susies Plantation Resort before this. No longer backpacker. Built new bures.Great diving on Vuna Reef - ask for the Stairs and Orgasm reef and Rainbow Reef - White Wall is amazing. Lots of drift dives and great fish life. Saw whales from the oceanfront. Unforgettable! Wish I spent more time there. Good food, people, atmosphere, lots to do. Stay for Fiji Night!

If you go to the yasawas stay at Manta Ray and dive with Reef Safari. If you can get to the Bligh Waters go for it...I went and stayed at Nananu-I-Ra Island, but that's closed now (Hilton or Hyatt-- can't remember which-- bought the whole island and is turning it into a 5star resort)
