DO NOT use True Blue Car Rental

While booking Car Rental in Fiji, stay alert from Local Car rentals - and Do Not Book 'True Blue Car Rental'. They'll offer cheaper rates than the standard car hire agencies but they'll cost you much more in the end. They also do unauthorized transactions on your Credit Card and dupe you of 100's of $. You've to give Credit Card details while hiring car.

When we hired the car, it already had scratches but we did not take photos - which turned out to be our mistake. While returning the car, the agency accused that we caused damages.When we told that we did not cause, they seemed to agree and asked 50 FJ $ cash for spray painting which we gave. They did not provide us a receipt.

However, when we reached home, we realized they have also charged our Credit Card for 300 Fiji $ without notifying us. When we called them and inquired, they actually threatened that they could have used it for 700 Fiji $ and they would not return that money. We had purchased car insurance - but they did not use it as the insurance company would have rejected their claim but directly charged our card. As they had our Credit Card details and could have used it for further transactions, we had to cancel it immediately but lost 350 $ in total.
