drinking water in fiji villages

I'm travelling to Fiji at Easter and staying in a village through fijibure.com. The website boasts the water in the village is sourced from the springs and purer than bottled water, thus safe to drink. I'm unsure whether to trust this recommendation so just wondering if anyone else has stayed at one of the villages and can offer any advice about the water? Thanks!

You worry too much.

What village are you staying at? If they say its safe then dont worry..... We drink water from a creek when we are there but we stay in a village in the interior,, not on the coast....
IF your concerned grab some bottled water at the airport on entry... But please dont dispose of the plastics in the village,,, make sure they are put in proper bin preferably in town... litter is a problem in Fiji
