| anonymous11:12 UTC03 May 2007 | HI, I am planning a holiday to Fiji with my husband, two teenage daughters and another primary-aged daughter. It appears food needs to be purchased through the resorts(I have looked at several). Is it possible to order a-la-carte instead of buffet all-you-can-eat style? It seems to me that food purchased from the resort is way overpriced and also that choice would be limited. Can anyone advise me of their experiences in eating in Fiji in places other than the resorts or if ordering a-la-carte would be possible and cheaper. I know it was in Langkawi. Cheers!

I do agree with you, some of the resorts in Fiji is expensive. There are other resorts which are all inclusive - breakfast, lunch & dinner and is affordable. Have you tried looking at Naviti Resort at the Coral Coast? They have all inclusive package which is alot cheaper than odering a-la-carte. You could also try Bekana Island Resort, off the coast of Lautoka.
