Feedback/Experiences with Mana Island Lodge (hostel)

I booked it through LP's Hostelworld link... not looking for anything posh, just basic accoms ~ but I have limited hostel experience, just a flashpacker place in Nadi 2 yrs ago ~

It's so beautiful on Mana Island -- I figure I will be out and about during daylight anyway. Some personal experiences or tips would make me feel less like a goob. I'll be there 3 nights... then onto Melbourne.
