| cm23:16 UTC02 Apr 2007 | Hi there
I'm travelling to Australia in June and have the chance to extend a stop-over in Fiji for a week. I'll be with two friends- we are all in our early twenties.
I was wondering- will there be plenty to do, and will we meet other young people? I've been told that Fiji is catered for couples with lots of honey-mooners. Our other option would be to stop-over in Singapore, I really can't decide where to go!
Any thoughts would be really appreciated. Thanks!!!!

In fact certain islands in the Yasawa group or the famed Beachcomber mostly cater to young backpackers. There is LOTS to do, more than enough to fill a week.
I am willing to bet that as three young girls, you'd enjoy Fiji much more than Singapore. The latter is only worth considering instead of Fiji if you don't visit any other place in SE Asia.
