Fiji 13th feb

Hi, I'm after some guidance on where I should stay in Fiji for 7 nights. Stay in one place or go to a few islands. I want to relax but also like some nightlife.

In my experience island nightlife isn't that great... You're generally stuck in the resort bar (or bars if the resort has multiple) and they generally close early-ish... If you don't like the atmosphere, music, pricing, whatever, then your options are either deal with it or head back to your room... Unless of course the island has multiple resorts where you can walk to the next resorts bar.... Mainland has a much better nightlife... Plenty of choices with bars, nighclubs, karaoke bars etc... However, relaxation is best on the islands rather than mainland... Maybe split your holiday with weekend (Fri & Sat night) on mainland (to enjoy the nightlife) and the remainder of your holiday on an island (to enjoy relaxation)... :)
