Fiji Arts Village (Pacific Harbor)

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Fiji

I am going to Fiji in July mainly for scuba diving but would like to do some land visits as well. On of the places that I want to go is the Arts Village in Pacific Harbor. It used to have its own website and accept on-line booking for their tours, but the site has now disappeared. Is the village closed or something?

"Childchi" lives at Pacific Harbor. If she sees this post she will let you know.
When we were there last (a year ago) it looked 'quiet'.

Cheers,
Peter

the arts village is still there and just recently there were lots of tourists there from the cruise ships, but really you can probably see all the same at the nightly shows at whatever resort you are staying at., and visit a village as well, one thing nice about it, the lotus in the ponds are beautiful and we always have a fruit drink at one of the shops as we are driving from Nadi to Suva

Hey hintermann,

Just curious as to where you plan to go scuba diving and with which operators? I will be there in mid June for 5 days.

Thanks

Hi Katq88

I will be going on the Fiji Aggressor liveaboard boat. I am flying into Nadi on Korean Air via Seoul and taking a privately arranged car to Suva. Staying overnight in Novotel there and joining the boat at noon next day.

I far prefer liveaboard diving and avoid resort based dives unless I have no choice.
