Hello all | ||
A lot of people do the accommodation packages, so there is always a crowd. Some places are a dump. The nice and small places are not part of the business. If you want to meet lots of people and don't care much about the accommodation or the place you are staying, go for it. | 1
I would personally choose two places and just visit them over 7 days. Allows you to get into the swing of things and take part in resort activities etc. Im pretty sure it works out cheaper too. | 2
I would not go for a package. Find a place to stay and enjoy Fiji - packages usually just bring you to the places where everyone else goes. I just came back from the awsome place in Savusavu - the tropical paradise you imagine for an affordable price. The owners are really nice too (which I find much better than the impersonal service of a large resort) Check out http://www.saltlakelodgefiji.com/ (not surprisingly place is even better than it looks on the web) | 3
