Fiji - best snorkelling off Deuba or Malolo Lailai Lagoon Resort Club?

Hi all

We're planning a trip to Fiji and are limiting our accommodation options to our timeshare resorts, in either Deuba, Denarau or Malolo Lailai Lagoon Resort Club.

Our main wish is for easy snorkelling off the beach - so I guess Denarau will be out in that case.

Is it possible/easiest to snorkel off the beach easily at Deuba? (Fiji Palms) or from Malolo Lailai?

Also of concern is that we will be travelling with a one year old and it concerns us that there is no air conditioning in Malolo Lailai Lagoon Resort Club. If anyone has stayed here could you please tell us if the 'cooling system' they advertise is adequate?

Have stayed on Malolo LaiLai but not at the Lagoon Resort Club. the snorkeling from shore is nothing wonderful. Generally they take you out to the Sandbar to snorkel.
