Fiji Doctors & Hospitals

We are leaving Santiago today to spend 2 weeks on Fiji´s islands. Unfortunately the guy I am travelling with got bitten by a dog the other day and has since begun a series of rabis injections, 3 of which will need to be done over the next fortnight.

So we now need to plan which Island we´ll be on and when around his injections.

Does anyone know which islands have clinics or a hospital where he can get these done? And what will be the best way for him to get between islands? i.e. boat passes, etc?

are you bringing your own vaccine with you? if you haven't planned for it there might be none available (Fiji is not a rabies country). If you are bringing your own you will need permission from airlines to carry it with you (in appropriate cold storage container). Your best bet would be to ring the Suva Private Hospital for advice on what to do.
