heading off to fiji and feel like a book to take then i suggest 'show me the sky' by nicholas hogg. read after i got back from lakemba and though it partly follows a detective tracking down a missing singer - suspected of running to fiji - its also set when the missionaries arrived in 1830s. great period details of fijian culture of that time, and drama when first foreigners arrived. a beach book with meaning. | ||
